Becoming a Christian / Follower of Christ

Do you find that you are living a life that is unfulfilled or incomplete?
Does it seem like you are constantly searching for something to satisfy an emptiness, only to be disappointed and never are satisfied?
Do you feel like you've gone too far with something in life, and feel there is no way out?

If you ask yourself any of these questions, rest assured that there IS hope.  And, that hope is only found in Jesus Christ.

Living a life for Jesus is not necessarily always easy... However, it's the most fulfilling life to live with peace and joy.  God created humans to be in a relationship with Him and to depend solely on Him.  Humankind fell into sin when Adam and Eve fell into temptation, which is found in the book of Genesis (chapter 3) in the Bible.  And, from that point on every person ever born (except for Jesus Christ) has sinned against God at some point in his or her life.

Over 2,000 years ago God sent his son, Jesus, to provide a way to atone people from their sins.  Through Jesus' death on the cross, He took on the sins of the world for all of us so that we might be forgiven.  His resurrection from the dead three days later provides hope for any of us that recognize and accept Him as Lord and Savior (John 3:16).  This hope is for ANYONE who puts his / her faith and trust in Jesus.

So, Jesus did not come to beat us up or tear us down, but to give us an abundant life.  He wants a relationship with you.  He proved that through the pain He endured from suffering and dying on the cross for you and for everyone else.

If you say with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:9

This is pretty much summed up in the Apostles' Creed found
here.
